BL Plastic Slitting & Converting was formed in 2012 when Plant Manager/Owner Bill LaCroix decided to pursue his dream to begin his own slitting operation after working in the slitting and converting industry for over 33 years.
BILL LACROIX
Bill started in 1979 working for the Robert Williams Company. His journey began in shipping and he worked his way up to Plant Manager. Bill continued in his leadership role after Interfilm Holdings, Inc., purchased the Robert Williams facilities in CT and IL in 1996. He became an integral part of troubleshooting quality issues in other plant locations throughout the US. Bill was also heavily involved in capital projects, evaluating and selecting equipment designed with the latest slitting technology for each plant location. His technical expertise has benefited his customers, suppliers, and employees through the years.
MARIANNE NAMNOUM
Recognizing the importance of superior customer service, Bill knew he had to choose the right person for his team to continue to provide customers with what they had come to expect after many years of service. He asked Marianne Namnoum to join forces with him after working together for over 16 years. She was responsible for managing and providing Customer Service leadership for multiple sites across the US. Marianne recognizes the importance of each and every customer, and she is committed to making sure each customer is happy from order entry to delivery of product. She listens to customers and works relentlessly to make sure we deliver excellence on every order.
TIM EVERETT
To complete his start-up team, Bill brought one of his most knowledgeable slitter technicians with 20+ years of experience. Tim Everett has experience working with a wide variety of film types and gauges as well as slitting equipment. He knows the importance of delivering excellent quality in our products and processes, every step of the way. Our entire team is committed to making sure that we don't skip a beat when it comes to providing the best service possible. We focus on customers' needs and deliver what it takes to keep them coming back. We want to make it easy and enjoyable to do business with us.
Cole Lacroix
Cole has been with BL Plastic Slitting since 2018 as a full time member of our team. He started in a part time position while attending school and then decided to follow in his dad's dream. Cole has a variety of responsibilities at BL Plastic which include packing, shipping, receiving, inventory organization as well as assisting with running the slitters. With his broad range of knowledge, he is able to step in and help wherever needed.
